DESCRIPTION

You play as Paul, who travels to the future. You fight waves of robots to repair your time machine to return home. The story is inspired by the Netflix documentary "Fantastic Fungi" and Paul Stamets.

"Time to Kill" was a semester-long coding project for an experimental class at Iowa State University. To foster group collaboration, we used Git for version control and GitLab as a web-based Git repository. This project was a fantastic introduction to effective project management on long-term software, how to effectively use Git for Unity projects, which includes using Git LFS and gitingores, as well as scope creep. In this project, I was tasked with coding the player and enemy animations, player movement, player interaction, a simple particle effect system, and dialogue. On top of this,  I often supported and guided my teammates, shaped the project's direction, and ignited strong communication within our group.
